Ran the speaker 200 feet from the source using my own wire. Works well.

I bought this for my uncle’s store for the door alarm, it is loud and works really nicely. There is an extra speaker that can be fixed somewhere else in the store, so that if the store is big then the sound reaches everywhere.

Works well but there is a constant buzz noise. 50 yr old tech and like made in China electronics.

this product solved our entry issues perfectly. But the included wire was absolute crap. it couldn’t be stripped and the wire was so fragile that it would break off when moving the wires when setting up the unit. I have never used wiring that was so easy to break, I think it must be made of aluminum strands? the rest of the kit seems to work perfectly although I wish there was additional entry sounds to choose from, just two, a single beep and a double beep, kind of like a driveway alarm from Harbor Freight.
