Not being able to compensate for the binocular distance of my eyes resulted in me needing to return these glasses. The product performed well otherwise.
Pros:
1.) The button layout and controls were very intuitive and easy to use. The workflow for adjusting any of the basic settings was responsive, fast and simple.
2.) The sound quality was very nice, and the whisper mode worked fairly well. Anyone who is sitting right next to you in a quiet room will still be able to make out what you’re listing to, but the mode works well in busy environments.
3.) These worked great with my MacBook and my PS5. Even through some blurriness of not being able to get the screens aligned correctly with my eyes (more on that down below), reading smaller fonts on my Mac was easy when I could get sections of the display in focus, and testing a FPS on my PS5 was smooth and clear.
4.) This does not suffer the edge of the screen blurriness I experienced with other similar products. Depending on positioning, I could get the edges of the display to be crystal clear. More on that in the Cons. section.
Cons:
1.) After trying a few products like this, I’ve come to realize that the contours of my face do not fall within average measurements. These glasses may work extremely well for you, even though they did not work well for me. That said, I could not adjust the glasses to the point that I could clearly read the entire screen at once. There was always a portion of the screen that was blurry, and it shifted as I adjusted every option available. A little more tolerance in adjustment of screen positioning would have made these a wonderful solution for me.
2.) The build quality was okay, but it could be more polished. Don’t get me wrong: they feel fairly solid in the hands and I wasn’t afraid I was going to break them; however, the product begs to be more sleek and stylish. This is highly subjective, so take it with a grain of salt.
Summary:
I wish there was a better method of “try before you buy” with products like these. These types of products do require the user to try them on and see how they fit (almost like cloths). Unlike cloths; however, take the time and adjust these until you get the right “fit” (if you can). These are a nice solution if they work for you. Unfortunately, they did not for me.

I first saw the RayNeo AR glasses at a friend’s home. After trying them on, I was amazed by the clear image quality. Honestly, I didn’t know AR glasses can be such clear.
I researched online and found some info, even though the glasses don’t have as much popularity as other brands. It turns out this product was developed by TCL Technology, a company with over a decade of experience in color tuning, especially known for its TVs.
I bought the AR glasses and used them over the weekend, wearing them for about 6 hours without discomfort due to their comfortable design. I mainly bought them for watching movies, not gaming. I also ordered the Pocket TV which connected to Google TV inside. To be honest, you can find almost any channel you want, and watching TV while lying down is no problem—much better than a traditional TV. The speaker quality was surprisingly good, offering rich sound rather than just a mono speaker feel.
One thing to note with AR glasses is the common issue of blurry edges, but RayNeo claims to have improved this. Initially, I still noticed some blurring on the edges. However, after trying different nose pads and adjusting the height to center the screen, I found that the edge blur was almost gone. For anyone with a bit of technical knowledge, it’s clear that varying interpupillary distances and wearing positions make edge blurriness highly individual. In my view, RayNeo seems to have worked on this. However, as I mentioned, if you buy these, try different nose pads and adjust the height to center the image for the best experience.
Overall, the glasses are reasonably priced and offer a good experience, making this a successful purchase. Right now, my wife and I both use them. I’m planning to buy another pair AR glasses as a Christmas gift for my friend. That will be a very unique present.

Blurry images and not close to 201 inches

I purchased these to wear at the gym while on the treadmill. They stay on, and work perfectly once you get them set up. You will need a smartphone the allows for “dp” out. All Samsung galaxy phones feature this. You can search your phone model to see if it is compatible, (There is an adapter available for phones that don’t have dp, but I personally wouldn’t want to add anything else to the mix.)
If you have a Samsung Phone, you will need to turn off “dex.” Just search how to do it, it’s very easy.
1: Search for “rayneo downloads” on the smartphone you’ll be using. (this is for android.) (The app from google play doesn’t appear to work)
2: Download the app directly from the rayneo site.
3: Once installed, you are good to go. You can use their browser which includes some interesting links to 360 degree videos. Prime video, etc.
4: You can also use the chrome browser and open youtube and other apps directly.
Picture quality: Very good. Minimal distortion around the edges nearly non exsitant. Very bright display. Various picture options (I use vibrant)
Sound quality: Very good also, I do wish it was a bit louder, but I can hear everything well even in a busy gym.
Value: Excellent. Right now these glasses are $319 and are every bit as good as the Xreal one glasses (which are $499) in my opinion.
I’m very pleased with these glasses especially for the price!

I have owned quite a few virtual reality headsets over the years but never enjoyed watching movies and contents in public because of the bulky design until now! These are very lightweight and are just like wearing a pair of sunglasses. The picture quality and sound is amazing. I highly recommend the AR glasses. Worth every penny.
