We bought this faucet as we had been looking at it for quite a while. If you do some quick shopping around you will find that this thing ranges greatly in price. Most places have it listed for less than MSRP, but Amazon had it listed way way less. I was a bit skeptical, but it was sold by and shipped from Amazon so I felt confident that if there was an issue a return would be pretty simple. When the unit arrived it came in a non-retail type box. The box was your typical brown cardboard with minimal text on the outside of the box. Moen was on it as well as some quick details like the model number and such. The box was sealed with a single layer of tape so I am confident that this came straight from Moen like it was. When we opened the box all things were in plastic and in their respected places. The install was very straightforward. I would rather install a kitchen over a bathroom faucet any day of the week because you do not have to deal with the drain!

We replaced a builder grade Moen unit so it was nice that this came with all of the tools to install as we needed one of them to uninstall the old unit that was in place. The install took me about 45 minutes to an hour, but if I had to do it again I am confident that it would not take any longer than 30 minutes. It was a very simple process and the instructions were very easy to follow along.

I do have a few complaints with this one that I would normally just try and not think about. First, if you are on the sprayer and you turn off the water most faucets would default back to the regular flow, but this one does not seem to do that. When we turn the unit back on we tend to get a mix like it wants to switch back, but just doesn’t quite make it. Second is the material of the pull down spray selector. This unit retails for almost $1000 and for that price I would expect that this thing be all metal. The pull down feels like a chunky piece of plastic. It is sturdy and well built, but does not have the same metal feel like the rest of the unit does. And finally, my biggest gripe here is that this thing runs on batteries out of the box. 6 or 8 of them if I remember correctly. Your hot and cold lines go into a blend unit that then plugs in with a headphone type port up to the handle. There is then a single water line out of this blend unit that lets the water travel up and out into the sink. If the batteries die your faucet dies along with it. Again for this price I feel like the power kit should be something that comes with it. I know not everyone is going to have a plug under their sink depending on their setup, but for the price I feel like it could have been included. Eventually we will break down and spend the $100 to get the power kit that runs off of AC power until your home loses power and then it will switch over to the batteries.

All in all I would 100% buy this again and again. We love the unit, but wish that there were a few things that Moen would choose to upgrade / include with the purchase of this unit.

After trying a cheap $100 Off brand faucet, that leaked from the cartridge and the hoses, I bit the bullet. Got this in gold.

Easy to install due to a plastic tool for tightening that comes in the box, saving ungodly frustration and knuckle-skinning.

Works exactly as you expect it to. Motion sensor works when the tap is “off” which makes it useful. Doesn’t drip. Not made by complete meatballs.
    Solid brass.

    Expensive but recommended.

I very rarely write reviews, but this was an expensive product and I feel anybody that’s looking at. It deserves an honest review.. my Handyman installed it without any issues. All parts were there and everything worked great from the get-go.. I then took over and was going to link it with my phone and my Alexa echo it took a while the support at MOEN was terrific. They answered quickly and were most helpful. It is tricky and I would suggest unless you’re a seasoned/Moen Smart faucet connector. I would call them and have them walk you through it. I’m very techy, but this took a while and several times of turning it on and off, which isn’t so simple since it’s way down under the sink, but essentially everything does connect and does work. It is a little tricky as I said, so somethings on your settings on your phone may have to be turned off that are blocking it but not obvious things that come to mind, but I had to do that all in all, it seems to be a great product , it’s only been installed few hours but I’m very happy with it. It was delivered very carefully and as I said all the parts were intact and there was nothing wrong with it once it was put on not scratched looks great, and I give it five stars.

The media could not be loaded.

Im a contractor and learned the hard way to stay with well know brands like Moen and Delta etc.
So when I had to choose for my home I went with Moen. This is a great faucet its been bullet proof for 3 years its easy to clean and maintenance free. I was torn if the motion sensor upgrade was with it. Let me tell you its 100% worth every penny! We use it non- stop. if your hands are full or dirty it works great if you’re sick or anyone is- its a great option.
In 3 years I replaced the battery once!
Ive installed many facets and this is about the same as any other/ most handy homeowners can handle it, All you’ll need is little space for the weight that retracts the sprayer and will have to stick the battery pack to the cabinet wall but its relatively easy. My cabinet is small with a garage disposal (fits fine).
As you can see in the video it does slide past the holder when it retract sometimes but no big deal.
I’d recommend sticking the battery pack where you can reach it just to keep it simple.
One last thing that makes it a “Best Buy” is the power of the nozzle when you flip it to rinse -it just works great for cleaning plates etc. **FYI it returns to the normal faucet flow after you shut off the water.
One last thing I appreciate is that if the kids use the hands free motion detector it shuts off automatically after like a minute
    Great investment Buy it!

I had to buy the Moen Escutcheon plate Model No. 141002SRS to cover the 3 hole in my stainless steel sink. I couldn’t find the 141002SRS on Amazon. But I found it on eBay.
Installation was a cinch. It didn’t work at first because I didn’t push the photo-diode connector in far enough.
The nylon spacer that goes in the bottom of the mast and interfaces with the escutcheon plate is difficult to keep aligned when tightening the nut that mounts the mast to the back of the sink. You need a second pair of hands.
The “C” washer works best with the 2 legs of the washer pointed at the back of sink.
We liked this faucet so much that I bought another one for my other home.
