Great performance for a sub-1k machine. I bring it with me to travel and visit with my adult children. Can edit video, play video games and stream videos. Good screen quality, great battery life, 40gb of RAM and nice and quiet.

I purchased this laptop for one of our executives, and after just four months, it stopped charging. When I contacted Lenovo for support, I was informed they could not assist because the laptop was originally sold in India and can only be serviced there. The seller, PCOnline US, operates and sells within the United States, and the purchase was made in the US. However, the laptop is geo-locked to India for servicing. This feels deceptive. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this seller. From Lenovo below: Hi Jazmel,
Unfortunately, due to a country discrepancy between the products’ Geography (India) and the provided Invoice (US), we are unable to proceed.
In addition, please notice that the device’s Geography can’t be modified. Lenovo products can only be sold on the same Geography they were shipped to.

The laptop came in two days. It was packaged really well. Upon opening it and setting it up, I checked all the specs to make sure it was the right one and it was. Everything looks great. The laptop itself is sleek and sturdy with its aluminum top and bottom. I had to update the driver on the fingerprint scanner once for it to work but it was not hard and to be expected that drivers would need updating. So far I love it. The warranty still has 8 months left with the option to upgrade. I’m excited to use it each time. My old laptop does not compare.

Best computer I have ever owned. Lots of ports. nice screen. runs quiet. solid. so much better than multiple Dells I have owned (what junk). A very, very useful laptop that I use for work.

I REALLY like my Lenovo ThinkPad. The screen is large enough to create CAD drawings the font is easy to increase or decrease, WINDOWS 11 installed already. This is a nice machine.

Switched from a MacBook Pro. Build quality is better than most of the laptops I looked at, but lacking the all metal body of the MacBook. This laptop is MASSIVE but does not weigh much. It works perfectly for school, has a decent screen, and with the settings adjusted from ‘performance’ to ‘battery life,’ you get much better battery life. I only use this for schoolwork. When the screen is dark, you can see uneven light behind the screen. Build quality not as good as the MacBooks but great functionality.

Build quality is good for a budget laptop. Speed is adequate, the soldered RAM and inability to use fingerprint reader with Linux seem to be a Gen1 issue that will cause a lot of returns. I would not recommend this, but I would recommend a later version like Gen 6. No soldered Ram and fingerprint reader works with Linux

Really quick shipping. Product arrived and was put through updates immediately without issue. Nice screen. Everything works, keyboard lights up, finger print is on the on off button. For 700 I couldn’t have done better, it has 24 gb of ram making it easy to handle what i need it to do, 1tb ssd for storage. No complaints, definitely worth the cost.
