    There are more features than I can easily review here. I like that this watch has an extended battery life. I like the integration with my, seeing calls, texts, emails, and phone notifications on my watch. I like the sleep and exercise tracking features. I like the touchscreen ability.

    Something that’s been helpful for me it to customize the options wheel that you get when holding the light button. Adding the widgets that I use has been very convenient. In addition, look at and customize the hot keys (start+down, start+up, etc). I have the stopwatch and timer, for example, set for easy access.
    The flashlight is a neat feature; it’s nice having this light source with you at all times.

    This watch is pricey, but it offers so much. I had a Samsung watch for a while, but the daily battery charge was annoying. 2 weeks plus with this watch (you can get more, but I leave some features turned on) is very nice. You can get chinese Garmin charges on Amazon fairly cheaply, so I have extras I leave in my travel bag, computer bag, car, etc, so I don’t have to worry if I get caught short on power.

    I bought this for hunting but also use it when I’m snowboarding and no joke the navigation can keep up with me doing 60kh on the mountain and still give me accurate riding lines in time so I don’t miss my runs.

    Battery life is outstanding too, to be honest I’ve had it around 3 weeks and the options on this watch is endless plus you get all the maps free with this watch.

    It’s a must buy, I wish I bought this watch years ago

    he Garmin Sapphire is an excellent smartwatch for men who value durability and performance. The sapphire crystal lens is incredibly tough and resistant to scratches, making it perfect for active lifestyles. It offers a wide range of features, including advanced fitness tracking, GPS accuracy, and seamless connectivity for notifications. The battery life is impressive, lasting several days even with regular use. Its sleek yet rugged design looks great, whether you’re at the gym or in the office. Overall, the Garmin Sapphire is a reliable, feature-packed watch that’s worth the investment.

    Have had about a year now. Love the battery life. I charge maybe once every 2 weeks even in winter when it doesn’t get any solar exposure. I don’t use too many of the smart functions like notifications from phone, but it’s a great fitness tracker, GPS, and good for things like checking weather. I love the golf function too so I don’t need a second golf watch or rangefinder.

    I have a glass screen protector on mine, but everything feels very durable. The included strap seems like it might need replacing every couple years, but so far so good.

    Di el cambio de un t-rex 2, y debo decir que al principio me costó asimilar las diferencias, es un reloj mucho más grande pesado y robusto, su interfaz no es tán amigable ni versátil, y su manejo y software es más lento y complejo, sin embargo, después de la primer semana estoy encantado con el reloj, es un excelente monitor, tiene un abanico más amplio de mediciones y de métricas, aunque debo decir que aún no le estoy sacando provecho al máximo, sin embargo, es un ideal y excelente acompañante de aventuras, eso sí, la lámpara te salva de muchas situaciones diarias, sin duda me siento más completo y seguro cuando salgo.

    Strongly recommend picking one up if you’re on the fence and are coming from lesser watches.

    Loving the new added features found on the 7X. (upgraded from Fenix 5X after 5+ years use)
    * Touch screen + Transflective display
    * Body battery metric
    * Morning summary
    * Extended battery life! (soooo much better than every 3 day charging)
    * Solar charging (though in the winter it doesn’t do much)
    * NFC connection for wallet/payments
    * Pro-Pace features
    * Better GPS connectivity
    * Band style is still just as beefy as well as the metal screen surround (sapphire screen saved me so many times!)

    Only con I’ve noticed is bluetooth range seems to be slightly reduced. Before I used to be able to leave my phone downstairs and not lose connection upstairs in bed… now it connects and disconnects all the time while upstairs unfortunately.

    The Garmin fēnix 7 Pro Solar is the crème de la crème of sport watches. The accuracy of GPS, features, and build quality are all super. The solar charging alone is a game-changer; this thing will go for weeks without a charge, which is perfect for extended outdoor adventures. It’s big, and if you have a smaller wrist, it’s still comfortable and chock-full of useful features. Highly recommended—easily 5 stars!

    I bought this watch to replace my Samsung Galaxy 4 watch.

    The battery life is enormous. With normal use, it’ll last maybe 2-3 weeks. I’m not that active of a person. I’m actually probably not the audience this watch is geared towards but I got it anyways bc I wanted a smart watch that would have a charge lasting more than a day.

    It does exactly what I want, lasts more than a day. Nice big display.
    I don’t like that the display isn’t super bright. However, I actually bought the Forerunner 965 to try out. The interfaces were almost the same, except the Forerunner was more beautiful. When I move my hand to look at the time though, bc the Fenix is a MIP display, it is truly always on. I can at least see it. The forerunner though would be off, sometimes wouldn’t turn on unless I wiggles my wrist a smidge. It’s something little, I know.

    But, for my needs (I work in a hospital, sometimes get blood or other patient biohazardous fluids on it during procedures), it works great. I can wash it very very thoroughly. If it can survive 5ATM of pressure it can definitely handle a thorough cleaning.

    The band that came with it is nice. I usually losen it one or two notches overnight. The sleep tracking, which is not the primary purpose of the watch, is pretty good. I think my old Fitbit Charge 3 was more accurate for sleep timings than Samsung Galaxy 4…. And that was more accurate than the Fenix. But overall, good enough for my needs. It doesn’t keep track of naps though. Supposedly there is an update coming soon to fix that.

    The brightness could be better BUT in direct sunlight I can definitely read it.

    The built in flashlight is clutch. I love that feature. I don’t remember the Forerunner 965 having it but I tried both simultaneously for a week and might have just forgotten.

    Location is extremely accurate for me. No issues. I only used it near my house. Primarily to track my location to send to wife in case of medical emergencies while walking. Very very happy with it.

    Again, my use case is slightly different than the typical for the audience this is meant for. I’m not a health fanatic. Just an average person. I walk maybe 2-3 miles a day. I don’t go on mountain trails that often. I don’t go biking. So I can’t really comment on that stuff.

    El diseño es muy bonito y muy fácil de usar a pesar de tener muchas funciones. Desde el primer día de uso, me he sentido muy cómodo con él.
