So I’ve tried it out for over a week now both in my car and connected to a sound system and it’s worked great every time. I’ve used it for streaming podcasts in my car and streaming music to the sound system. Even with all that use, my phone reports it still has 80% battery life. So I guess we’ll see if that suddenly drops to 0% or continues to gradually decrease.
The only issue I had was when I first received it, in order to power it on, I couldn’t have the audio cable connected. After that and the initial pairing, I simply just hold the power button for 2 seconds and it turns right on. I also just hold the power button for 2 seconds to power it off if I don’t want to wait. So if you’ve charged it and it won’t turn on, disconnect the cable from it and hold the power button down for about 2 seconds, then plug it in to the audio adapter or cable.
The volume has been plenty loud in my car. I hear no difference with the wired or bluetooth connection. (I currently have an older android phone with a headphone jack). Using the sound system it was also plenty loud, too loud in fact that I turned down the sound system. In writing this I realize I haven’t actually tried the volume buttons on the side so that also could help make it louder or quieter.
Pairing it was simple with my phone. I’ve also had another friend pair to it and didn’t have a problem. In all instances the phones have been pretty close so I can’t speak to the distance but in my uses for it, it will always be within 6′ of my phone anyways. It does speak the words paired so you know.
Pros:
*Small, like really small.
*Good battery life (so far)
*Sounds good.
*Good volume output.
*Comes with handy audio adapter and cable
*USB-C for charging.
*Affordable
Cons:
*When used in car during a phone call, sounds a little bit distant but my wife hasn’t ever complained she can’t understand me or can’t hear me so this is just a minor con.
*Comes with the shortest charging cable. Don’t know what car you could use that in to charge and also have it connected to the stereo aux jack. So you will need a longer USB-C cable.
*Nit picky here but I would prefer the blue led to just stay solid when paired instead of pulsing. I don’t really notice it but I haven’t also driven at night so I don’t know if it would annoy me or not. Just be aware that the light alternates blue/red with it isn’t connected and then pulses blue when it is

I’ve been using this blue tooth adapter for several weeks now. For the price it is a great value! I sort of like my Jeep factory stereo, except it doesn’t have BlueTooth. The car stereo does have an AUX IN port though, which this BT adapter plugs into. So far, I’m very happy with it. It works perfectly to send the sound from iPhone to the factory stereo. Perfect. No troubles at all. I have made & received a few of phone calls with it too. Phone call audio reports are not bad. Not super great either, sort of speakerphone sound- but acceptable & ok is what they told me. The mic is in the little unit, so I plan to hang it from the sun visor, closer to my mouth, like where a regular car phone mic would be. I expect that will improve the microphone performance. It came with a short male-male cable, and also a metal male-male adapter cable. You can use either one to connect, depending. Nice that it came with good options.
The whole unit is small, less than 2 inches square. The internal USB-C rechargeable battery lasts a long time, several weeks of light use. That’s including two 5 hour drives listening to audio books. So maybe it will last even longer, the battery didn’t go dead, I just thought it had to be time to recharge it by then.
It is handy having 1 button to easily grab to Pause/Play, no matter what the phone is doing. IIRC I think you can answer an incoming phone call with that button as well.
Set up was super easy. So easy I don’t even remember doing it.
The one drawback is that I have to turn it on every time. That means pushing the only button for 6-8 seconds to power on. Even if you leave it connected to auxiliary car power. It blinks blue so you know it is on & connected to your phone. (The blink is mildly annoying, but OTOH also good to know it is ready & connected). The BT adapter stays on until you turn it off, or the phone’s BT signal goes away. So you never need to turn it off, it will handle that for you. I left my phone in the car overnight and this BT stayed on, blinking blue all night. Still worked fine the next day. The battery is good!
I tried leaving the USB cord plugged into accessory power, which worked out fine. The BT unit was always charged. But it did not behave any differently. I was hoping that if plugged into acc power it might turn on automatically, but no.
This is my 2nd BT adapter, and this one is better than the 1st one I bought a few years ago (different brand) which was heavy and had to sit down in the coin dish with the mic & play/pause button buried under the normal car clutter of coins, pens, & chapstick. This one is lighter weight, and it can dangle from the Aux In port, which gets the pause/play/answer button up so it is easy to reach. Also the mic too.
Overall- I’d say just buy this one. It is working well and really a great deal as compared to getting a whole new car stereo with all the adapters to get the controls on the steering wheel working. Works great with my Jeep factory stereo. Was super easy to set up. Battery life is amazing. USB rechargeable. Easily saves $400 or more. And it works fine. Recommended.

So easy to install and charge. Small enough and won’t drain the car battery either. Literally plug and play. Plus it switches off automatically when you leave the car. Sound quality is good too.

Versatile and innovative. Easy to set up. Good quality. Long lasting battery. Have used it to connect phone to older vehicle, wired headphones, older amplifier. Crazy good value for money. Good quality sound.

Bluetooth audio and calling is great. Drive an older model vehicle- 2010 Versa and this little piece works like a charm. Easy set up and have not had any issue with the connection or dropping the BT connection. Bought a second unit for my daughters vehicle as well.
