As an augmented reality developer myself I find it to actually be pretty good compared to many options. It is certainly the cheapest way to dip your toes into the AR/VR headset world, it’s also pretty durable so I can let older kids play around with it without much worry if they drop it or anything. iPhone screens and cameras are so good now that it is honestly pretty good quality, it’s nothing like the old days of google cardboard where you could see every pixel. Just hold your iphone up to your face right now and you’ll see the quality of the display is actually quite good up close.

I bought this for my daughter to have the real VR experience but it was not that at all. She was unable to do any of the stuff we thought she would be able to do on this VR, also it didn’t hook up to her IPhone 14 even though it says it can you actually need a pc for it. Updating my review . I misunderstood what type of VR this was and therefore my review was misplaced. The product was great but I thought that she would be able to hook her phone up an play VR games. This product seems more for creating things like paintings or drawings. Maybe if you hooked it up to the PC it will do exactly what I was hoping for. So if you have a PC then this is most likely a great buy.

You have to put your phone in this, which I knew going forward. The problem is several phones are quite heavy and the plastic digs into your head and makes it very uncomfortable. There is no way to focus the screen since it is on your phone and I find it very hard to read from being too blurry. You can adjust the distance from your face, but that did nothing to help with the blurriness. The controllers kept disconnecting and every time you would launch a new app, you would have to manually connect them again. Too many issues with this headset, just save your money and get a good one that has a built in screen.
