Compact, great storage capacity & very reasonably-priced. Setup on Windows PC was a breeze.
Runs quiet & no sign of significant heating up.
CONS: USB cable could be an issue for some applications.
Wish the bundled software/files were at lease somewhat “hidden”
Curiously, had trouble initially creating new folders via File Explorer

I specifically bought the Seagate that stated it worked with MAC computers. However, it did not come formatted for use with MAC computers. The instructions that came with it were pretty much useless. I looked it up online and found instructions on the Seagate website that told me how to format it for a MAC. Those instructions were easy to follow. Once I formatted the drive it worked very well and was easy to use. It should have come formatted for a MAC or at least included well written instructions for how to format it. Overall I’m happy with the product.

It’s an external hard drive, performs as advertised.
To those people omplaining about how these hard drives are a scam and fortmatted size is not the advertised size, this is how it has been since the beginning. If you never bought a hard drive before, I can understand your confusion. They always advertise the unformatted size because depending on what OS you use, and how you decide to partition them, you can never exactly estimate the formatted size. You get sold the size of the wall, not the size of the book shelves.
That aside, the only annoyance I have is that the drive seems to like to go to sleep and takes a few seconds to spin up. But I got it at a really good price, so I’m good.

I was expecting, you know, a regular size external hard drive. But this one is about the size of two thumb drives side-by-side! It’s so tiny and cute!
On a serious note, it runs as expected. I was hoping to put decals on it as part of the gift but it was two small. I even measured with a Seagate drive we have. But I was slightly disappointed that it was so tiny. I was only able to fit two decals. One on each side. Honestly the size is probably better anyway. Takes up less space while in-use, and it makes it easier to store. I wish there was an option to have the full size, but I can overlook that.
