I love bath bombs, for myself or the kids. Especially ones that color all the water.
This is not one of those, not really at least. It gave the water a slight hue at best. However, the bubbles from their were so fun!! This when first dropped into the water immediately started foaming! It definitely looked like a volcano erupting! It didn’t dissolve right away, which was fun for kiddos so they could keep watching it bubble and foam. It took over five minutes to fully dissolve. It was super fun to watch. And the smells were great! Not very strong though once it entered the water. It definitely did not seem to have a moisturizer in it or anything. But it also didn’t make my kids’ skin dry or itchy. So I call it a win!

There’s not much to the kids bath bombs. They don’t really soften the skin, which is fine – they’re mostly to make bath time more enjoyable. These volcano bath bombs are cute. They color the water quickly, dissolve easily, and don’t leave much of a film on the tub when you rinse it out.

We got the volcano bath bombs, not the eggs, so maybe that’s what it was, but the box DOES say “random toys” so my 7 year old was expecting a dinosaur or something and was disappointed to find no such toy. Outside of that, the colors were vibrant and the smells were pleasant, I just don’t understand advertising toys on the box when there are no toys. No other complaints with these bath bombs, though. My kids loved them despite that.

This is one of the more disappointing sets I’ve tried lately. They’re very small, at about 1.4 oz. each. I can’t find that anywhere indicated in the photos or description currently on the page. And the only way they’d produce the amount of foam is if you used the whole box at once. Individually, they’re very scant on foam and color.
Aromatherapy? Not even close. The scent is barely detectable. So, too, is any moisturizing effect.
They do produce a cute little volcano-like effect when the water first hits them, so they’d be good for momentary amusement. But that’s about all.

I was not sure from the product page if these would have toys. That is what usually makes bath bombs for kids, the toys inside. There were figures that could be toys, but could also just be decoration on the product page. I though they would have toys, as the box stated “random toys” but they DO NOT have toys. They also do not have a volcano effect. I thought they would “erupt” like maybe have a color stick inside that would cause it to be red when it dissolved the outlet layer, which they did not. They look more like pyramids and they are small for the price. They do have a very nice scent to them, which is the only redeeming quality. Set expectations. No toys. No eruption. Light coloring but decent scent. Small.

If you’re looking for a bath bombs for your kid then I recommend this for anyone who is worries about small toys that come inside of them. This has all the fun to get your kids into bath bombs. They smell great and fun to watch fizzle up and disappear

I love these so much. They smell so good and make self care nights that much better. I love the little volcano shape too. So cute.

While my kids have gotten used to me getting bath bombs with small toys in them, these are still a hit due to the shape. They fizz up as soon as they get even a little damp and the dual colors really help them look like little volcanos. Each has a different scent, pleasant but not too strong, and help color the bath water. The only reason for a four out of a five star is the current listed price is almost $2 each and that seems a little expensive given the size of the bathbomb without a toy.
