I needed a laptop that could run adobe and video editing software seamlessly. I got the perfect computer! I have the 32 g / 1 TB option!!! I love this computer and bought a DVD/CD external drive to install the older software that I use. I love AMD processors and this Ryzen 7 does not disappoint.

On arrival, the (unbranded) power cord shipped with the computer was faulty – the female 3 prong plug did not fully connect with the male 3 prong adapter. The seller refunded some of my purchase price so I could buy another power cord and adapter. The computer box clearly had a tear in the cardboard where the box was likely opened, and that tear was partially covered with an unbroken “CHECK CONTENTS IF SEAL IS BROKEN” sticker on top of the tear.
I contacted Lenovo support and we checked that the configuration of the computer was correct (RAM, processor, storage, etc) as advertised. The only issue we found is that the model I bought was not supposed to have a backlit keyboard, and this one does.
Within about 3 weeks of use, the rear USB C port stopped accepting a charge – it now gives a “Slow charger” message, and a “Weak charging state, please check power charger” message. I tried multiple chargers and none work in that port. The secondary USB C port does still accept a charge with the same power cord, so the problem is the port not the charger. Lenovo is sending me a box to ship it to them for repair under warranty. That means I will not have this computer for about 2 weeks, maybe more with the holiday.
12/12/24 Update. The second USB C port also failed before I could send it to Lenovo for warranty repair, so the only way to use the computer was to plug it in overnight to charge the battery. The plug alone could not deliver enough power to run the laptop without battery support. The seller offered a replacement or refund, I chose a refund and shipped the laptop back to them.
I liked the computer, the keyboard was comfortable to use with a lap desk, I just wish the USB C ports would have worked.

Mine had several labels on top of Lenovo’s ones. The original label was from Lenovo w/ a config of 8GB and 512GB SSD, and I purchased here a 32GB w/ 1TB. Certainly upgraded parts, which made me afraid of being a refurbished one.
I will get in touch with Lenovo and check if there is warrant based on the S/N.
Other than that, the box seems original and even w/ Lenovo’s seal (which is surprising).

I also noticed the Lenovo label said no Operating System. So this vendor loaded a Windows 11 on the device – the license seems authentic.
The computer looks brand new, however the fingerprint reader is not working.
One other important detail: the seller is AZXUT STORE and their profile says it’s TAX FREE for all states. Which is not accurate, or, at least, I did pay the respective taxes.

This is a great pc, the screen is very good and it’s a powerful tool to computational analysis. However, the fingerprint reader doesn’t work.

I’ve been a repeat Lenovo customer for years now for my personal PC’s and have always been very satisfied with their products. This one, however, takes the cake.
I purchased the Ryzen 7, 64Gb, 2Tb SSD and I’m thrilled. An excellent balance of cost, power and features.
When everyone else is soldering 16Gb RAM on board, Lenovo gives me 2 SO-DIMM slots with up to 64Gb RAM.
Where others provide a single SSD connector, sometimes completely inaccessible, Lenovo gives me two full size 2280 slots that can take 4Tb each.
Proprietary power supply? Heck no…USB-PD with DisplayPort support so I can connect a PD pass thru dock with all of my peripherals and monitor in one connection.
In my case an octa-core, 16 thread processor that, even though it’s one generation behind, still kicks a$$.
Everything, including the battery, is accessible thru the bottom panel using a Phillips screwdriver…no glue to contend with.
If you’re looking for aluminum look elsewhere, the case is plastic but for someone like me who cares more about utility than aesthetics, no problem.
All for under $750.
With any luck Lenovo continues making models like this. If so I’ll continue to be a loyal customer for a long time.

Bought a great laptop at a good price that was shipped promptly. Love the 2TB SSD, so big I’ll never fill it. Toss in the 32 ram and I’ll be golden for a while with this machine.

I purchased this laptop December of 2024 for work. I have followed all the guidance to update drivers, etc and I frequently get dropped from the internet. The microphone went out in January and now the charging port has gone bad. I would definitely not recommend this device and am utterly frustrated.
