My work has brought me to many nice hotels around the world and years later certain scents still take me back to specific hotels with pleasant and vivid memories. I couldn’t place this specific collection of scents with a particular hotel, but it certainly resembles the spirit of those I’ve experienced before.
Like those hotel scents, this is friendly and inviting; it’s immediately noticeable but not offensive, overpowering or off putting in any way. It’s unique and enjoyable in a way that makes you want to stay and experience it more. As we have different diffusers and like having different scents in various rooms, this is a nice one to keep in our living room so as we venture through other spaces before reaching our bedroom, we have a unique and totally different scent there.
I like how this large bottle has a traditional metal cap but underneath it is a plastic flip top that further seals the dropper hole. So many times I’ve found other bottles difficult to control dispensing a determined number of drops consistently so I did find this one easy to precisely control the number of drops dispensed (allowing me to manage the scents we dispense over time).

Okay, let’s talk about smelling fancy. I’m talking “just checked into a swanky hotel and immediately raided the mini-bar” fancy. That’s the promise of this “Hotel Luxury” fragrance oil. And let me tell you, it delivers… something.
First off, the bottle is ginormous! 200ml? I could probably bathe in this stuff. (Don’t worry, I won’t. Probably.) So, value for money? Absolutely. You’ll be smelling like a five-star establishment for months, possibly years.
Now, the scent… This is where things get interesting. Describing it is like trying to explain the plot of Inception after one too many martinis. “Sweet, herbal, woodsy with a hint of cologne” is the best I can do, and even I’m not convinced that makes sense. It’s like they threw a bunch of fragrant ideas into a blender, hit puree, and hoped for the best.
Imagine this: You’re strolling through a pine forest, snacking on a honey-glazed croissant, while wearing your grandfather’s aftershave. That’s kind of the vibe. It’s… unique.
It worked great in my diffuser, filling my house with this… aroma. My husband walked in and said, “What is that smell? It smells like someone tried to seduce a forest.” I think he meant it as a compliment?
Look, it’s not BAD. It’s just… unexpected. It’s not my usual go-to scent (usually something that smells like freshly baked cookies or pure, unadulterated laziness), but it’s certainly a conversation starter.
The description boasts about international perfumers and IFRA standards, which basically means “we know what we’re doing, even if it smells a little weird.” No fillers, additives, or parabens is a definite plus. I wouldn’t want my “hotel luxury” to come with added questionable chemicals.
Would I buy it again? Maybe. I’m still trying to figure out if I genuinely like it, or if I’m just intrigued by its sheer audacity. For now, it’s getting 4 stars. One star deducted because I think my nose is slightly confused, and I’m pretty sure my dog is giving me the side-eye.
But hey, at least my house smells interesting! Just be prepared to explain the scent to anyone who asks. Good luck with that. You’ll need it.

No hotel I have ever been in has smelled quite like this. One of the other reviewers commented that it smells like someone tried to seduce a forest, and that’s probably the best description of this scent I could possibly imagine. There’s enough of the product to last literally forever, so you definitely get quite a bit of bang for your buck, but I do have some mixed feelings about the scent itself. It did start to grow on me after a bit, to be fair.

Overall I am pretty happy with this scented diffuser oil. I’m using it with a fairly large reed diffuser, and I only needed half of this bottle to fill it. It should last a few months which is a decent amount of oil. The scent is a very fresh and clean smell, with some slight floral notes and a hint of what seems to be patchouli. Though I don’t usually like patchouli, it’s not overpowering in this and all together is just a pleasant, light scent. The only drawback is that the scent is so light that it doesn’t quite fill my large living room; I can only smell it faintly if I’m sitting near the diffuser. This could be a good thing if you are sensitive to heavy fragrance and just want a hint of scent, but for the price I was expecting more. Still a nice scent but maybe better for smaller areas.

I can’t speak to if it gives one a luxury hotel like experience as the product is advertised as it’s been decades since I last stayed in a hotel; however, the aroma from this bottle of diffuser oil is very pleasant. Not overpowering but it puts a nice essence of fragrance in the air wherever the oil is used. It fills me with a sense of calm and relaxation whenever I use it. Perfect on those days when I find myself a little over-stressed and need that ambiance set up to help me calm down. Good to use in a reed diffuser, a waterless essential oil diffuser, an oil warmer or even a mister. Multiple ways to use this essential oil according to your preference and all are effective.
This is a scented oil that’s very worthy of a 5.0/5.0 for a 5 star rating.
