This works so well with my motorcycle with all the alerts to railroad tracks, deer crossing and much more and i use it to my speed as I don’t have to look down so far and I can keep my eyes on the road. I hard wired the charging base into my 2023 Kawasaki Vulcn 900LT and have never had a problem. It speaks all street names and even tells you to for example turn right at the stop light. It actually is so good I use it when I travel in my truck as it is better than my old garmin. It is packed full of features and it all goes into your bluetooth helmet. Yes it is expensive but it is worth it

I bought the Zumo XT2 based on the bright screen, 6†diagonal view, and great reviews. The setup was easy and I updated the maps and software in just an hour. I used a DEUTSCH connector to connect to my R1200RT hidden circuit tied off to the frame. It worked perfectly and the Ram mount is very flexible in getting the perfect orientation for the best view. This purchase was definitely worth the premium price for the outstanding design, performance, and quality.

This is my first Zumo and it’s everything Garmin describes and more. There has been two updates in less than a week and with each update, it keeps getting easier and more workable. The tread app works great in concert with the Zumo xt 2. I got 3m protective tape for the screen just in case.

by Además de suave y cómodo, también absorbió los baches en la carretera que la motocicleta dejó pasar.

    Love it

Ok, I did my research before purchasing the Garmin Zumo XT2. I have a 2022 BMW R1250RT motorcycle and the the stock BMW Ride Connected app is a disaster, in my opinion. It uses your smartphone and the app for navigation, but when navigating in hot weather it overheats your phone to the point your phone shuts down navigation. Not good when in unfamiliar territory. It is also constantly glitchy. Enter the XT2, it solves all of the problems I’ve had with BMW system. The large screen is excellent in all light conditions and the interface is typical Garmin, which is a good thing. Another awesome thing is it pairs with my Sena 50R helmet communicator. I can take calls, get navigation directions and listen to music without having to worry about it overheating. It stays connected and I have had no glitches. It just works. I have not utilized route planning yet, but I don’t anticipate any issues. I am very happy with it overall. The only thing I marked it down one star for is that it is slow to display my music at initial startup, as it searches for a bit depending on how many songs you have loaded the micro SD card. All in all the best option out there for my application. In addition, there are plenty of mounting options out there for motorcycles.

I am a long-time user of Garmin GPSs. Everything from my airplane to my semi-truck, Garmin is the one that has not failed me. The Zumo 2 has some learning curves but once you figure it out it keeps you right on track. My only complaint is the route creation. With an adventure bike, it is nice to create your own routes and use the GPS to guide you. Creating a route on the Garmin software and then sending it to the Zumo 2 it wants you to create the route again or reroute if you make a detour of any kind. The first trip was kinda a mess because I didn’t realize it changed my whole route until I was an hour off course but the second trip was perfect once I changed a couple of settings.

Garmin seems to try hard, steadily improving these things over time – a GOOD thing.

On pavement, I don’t recall the maps being inaccurate (except the speed limits are occasionally incorrect; it would be nice if Garmin provided an easy, straightforward way to submit corrections). Off-pavement, I turn to alternative Android apps (e.g. Gaia or Onx) for greater completeness.

At any rate the units (yes, I have a number of them from over the years) are well-made; mounting hardware is well made and suitably flexible.

Love the visibility of this Garmin. I use this on my motorcycle and really like it. Sure beats my Garmin Zumo 595.

The zumo. The graphics are a bit antiquated, and if your dealing with traffic alerts. Google or waze is still better.

For motorcycleing though. This takes the cake. Being able to create routes on the fly, or back track your route. Amazing.
The weather overlay is the creme Dela creme. Being able to see a weather Map on top of your route is amazing !! The Interface with phone and cardo can be tricky. But worth every penny. Has me comparing all my other bike navs to this

better luck with a sextant. how could the tread app be from the same people as the connect app. it will make up the route horribly if you give any leeway on shaping points. but if you use too many to try and correct this, it will just say ‘cannot calculate route’. honestly i feel like riding and exploring less because of having to wrestle the app. instead, now i use my garmin edge 530 cyclocomputer no problem on my flipping motorcycle. for my peabrain, the garmin zumo xt2 is BEYOND REDEMPTION if you are trying to make your own routes. it will take you from point a to b in its own way sure; but depending on it to take you on your planned route on backroads without cell service, forget it. granted i am pretty tech illiterate but i am happy with my edge 530 and take it out in the boonies all the time on the bicycle. maybe the zoomers or the triple digit iq people are going to laugh at this review but i am talking to the people who expect to buy this and have it be intuitive like other ‘dumber’/older pieces of hardware. if i could give 0 or -1 stars i would
