Easy to use. Baby doesn’t mind the noise, no worries about newborn face scratches or cut skin. I use this every other day to keep nails trimmed. A million times better than scissors or the trimmers that have cut skin in the past, traumatic. Avoid those options and buy this filer. Do it while contact naps or baby is content.

Listen up, new parents—Frida Baby Electric Nail Trimmer is the hero you didn’t know you needed in your life. If you’ve ever tried to trim your baby’s nails with regular clippers, only to have a meltdown on your hands (and a tiny, squirming human), then this electric nail trimmer will make you feel like the calmest, most efficient parent on the planet.
First of all, this thing is genius. It’s an electric nail file that is so gentle and safe, even newborns won’t mind it. The soft, cushioned pads glide over tiny fingers and toes, smoothing and trimming the nails without the risk of cutting too deep. I don’t even have to worry about nicking my little one’s delicate skin. It’s like having a mini spa day for their nails. And the LED light? Let’s just say it makes me feel like I’m operating on a baby in the best way possible—precision and care, all the way.
The kit comes with 4 different buffer pads for different nail textures, which is amazing because my baby’s nails are as soft as cotton candy. These pads are designed to be gentle enough for newborn nails but still effective enough to handle toddler nails as they grow. As your child gets older, you can switch to the appropriate pad for more durable nails. It’s like this thing is ready for all stages of tiny hands!
And can we talk about the storage case? This is the kind of organization I didn’t know I was missing. I can keep the trimmer and all the pads in one neat, tidy place, so when the next nail-trimming session comes around, everything is ready to go. I love anything that makes parenting feel like I have my life together, and this trimmer does exactly that.
Bottom line: The Frida Baby Electric Nail Trimmer is essential for any parent who has ever been afraid of cutting their baby’s nails. It’s safe, easy to use, and practically guarantees a nail trimming session without tears (and it works for toddlers, too!). 10/10, highly recommend! It’s one of those products that you never knew you needed until you use it, and then you can’t live without it.

These made dealing with baby nails easy! No more scratches. No more getting pinched by baby claws while she’s nursing. Super gentle, I don’t think it’s even possible to get hurt by this thing.

I recently purchased the Frida Baby Nail File, and it has quickly become one of my favorite baby care products! As a parent, trimming any little one’s nails had always been a daunting task, but this nail file has made the process so much easier and stress-free.
The file is gentle yet effective. It’s designed to safely smooth and round off sharp edges without the risk of cutting delicate skin, which gives me peace of mind. The file is easy to hold and use, and the soft, fine grit works beautifully to take care of those tiny nails without causing any discomfort.
One of my favorite things about the Frida Baby Nail File is how quiet and non-invasive it is. I no longer have to worry about waking up my baby or causing any distress while filing their nails. It’s also incredibly portable and easy to clean, which makes it great for on-the-go use. I also enjoy that you can purchase replacement pads when needed as the momcozy doesn’t offer replacement pads.
Overall, I highly recommend the Frida Baby Nail File to any new parent. It’s a simple yet brilliant tool that takes the stress out of nail care and helps keep your little one’s nails smooth and safe!

Overall really liked this nail buffer. This does not suddenly make nail care a breeze for a baby (under 1) simply because babies move around so much and have such small nails. However, it is much simpler than clippers once you get used to it. I particularly like that my daughter’s nails no longer have sharp edges – even once I got the hang of clipping, I could never get smooth edges and she was always scratching me. The buffer takes care of that. Pros and Cons summaries below.
Pros:
1. Once used to it, you end up with smooth, rounded nails with no sharp edges. This is huge because even if her nails get a little long, they no longer have sharp edges that scratch me.
2. Didn’t take long to get used to and then was pretty quick to use.
That’s really it on pros but honestly they outweigh the cons.
Cons:
1. Unclear how long each pad lasts and how easy it is to buy replacements without buying a new kit. Speaking of – with clippers you never have to buy an additional product so just the fact that the buffer pads will wear out and eventually need to be replaced is annoying, though that would be true of all buffers.
2. The instructions are not great. In particular, could have used recommended pad brittleness by age – I did not know where to start with my 6 month old. Also found the directions related to which direction the pad circles confusing and not helpful. Still unclear why it matters.
3. Packaging is excessive and not actually that helpful. All Frida products seem to come in white cases but the cases aren’t labeled externally so once they are in my closet, I have no clue which is which. This is actually fairly annoying for tired parents. I manually label each with a sharpie and that works fine.
4. A little weird to get used to using.
5. Your child will not magically sit still for this – my daughter was super interested in the buzzing so she kept trying to grab it.
6. I don’t actually think this would work for while asleep like it says because it does make noise and you need to hold their hand but to each their own.
