I bought this camera to replace one that was 6 years old and (had just) suffered a problem with it’s WiFi! I did my research and was generally pleased with the reviews for the CoolCrazy 4K Dash Cam, so I bought it. I’ve been using it for just over a week and am very happy with the quality of the video; the images are very crisp. I like having a built-in GPS so the vehicle speed is included in the video. Overall, this is a quality camera that I would definitely not hesitate to recommend to someone.
Here are a couple of things that might be of interest if you are considering this camera.
1) Once the camera is mounted, I don’t see any way to detach it from its base if, for some reason, you wanted to have easy access to the camera to adjust something in the setup. My camera is mounted behind/infront of the rearview mirror so that it does not impact my field of view. In that location, viewing the screen and making changes is a little challenging. I did that by choice and it would not be a problem in a different location.
2) Connecting the camera to the APP. The instructions are very clear and it works, and I like the App! Here’s the thing – and it might not be important to you – but, when you want to connect the APP to the camera, you have to manually turn the WiFI on via the menu in the camera every time! I’ve owned a number of dash cameras and the camera WiFi was always on and available. I wish this camera had an option in the setup to allow you to select “always on” for the WiFi. Perhaps the vendor will consider this option in an update to the camera’s BIOS!

Great dash cam! The 4K video quality is amazing – all the details on the road are crystal clear. The wide-angle lens captures the entire scene, and the built-in WiFi and GPS make it super convenient to use. Night vision is excellent, and the 24/7 parking mode is a great bonus. Very satisfied with this purchase!

The Coolcrazy Dash Cam 4K Front records clear 4K video, even at night. WiFi lets you watch and download videos on your phone. GPS tracks your location and speed. It’s easy to install and small in size, but the app could be better, and GPS may take time to connect. Overall, it’s a good dash cam with useful features and great video quality.

I really like this dash front camera. There was one time that someone hit my car and left and I was not able to pull my phone and see the plates of the other car. That’s want made me bought this dash cam in which I totally recommend. It has a wide front view and it already comes with a 32g memory card for recording while driving and by using your phone you can clear the memory used and record again that simple and the 4k view is amazing.
The dash cam it’s pretty small so it don’t use much space on your front dash and it’s easy to install. It came with everything I needed to installed in my car.

Quality looks good so far on day 1. No wifi required for use or setup which I love! Discreet mounting for installation compared to other budget cash cams. The menu options are a bit more limited than I like but that’s okay for the amazing price.
