Our basement had two ugly “boob” light fixtures which gave poor, uneven light.
These units look modern, are nearly flush with the ceiling (important since we have low ceilings), and with the remote you have hundreds of options for brightness and color temperature.
They took me a half hour to install – couldnt be easier. They utilize the existing junction box. The light even has a hanging cable to allow you to wire it without trying to hold up the fixture in position. Highly recommend!

TL,DR: The item is worth the price
Installed one in my 14×14 sqft bedroom recently. Took about 5 minutes and was pretty straightforward. Comfortable space and wire length to screw the wires and a well sitting base.
Heat level is adjustable and for the three features levels you don’t need the remote. They are quick swappable by the wall switch.
It does not illuminate the ceiling but lights up a small room well.
The remote is not of a particularly great quality, needs 2 AAA batteries but the buttons work as mentioned.

Easy install. Large base helped make it easy to install. Has a wire clip on the light to connect to base while connecting wires. The dimming has several options on remote. Flipping light switch will also change bright to dim. As fair dimming I didn’t feel it dims light other lights I have used that do a gradual dim to bright or bright to dim. More of different shades of light. Otherwise it is a great light. I like the option to press – or + to turn up and down and also has a dim night light button. Being that the base that connect to ceiling box is large it make it easier to connect light to base after pushing wires up inside box above base.

Work very well. Light is bright and nice, easy to install. I had 2 issues with it:
– First, when you increase the coldness of the light, it eventually turns off instead of stopping at the maximum cold white light.
– Second issue is the maximum brightness button and dark button seems inverted on the remote control : black star bring max illumination et white star close off the light. It’s a bit confusing.
Otherwise it’s an excellent product.

We placed these lights in our home gym and let me tell you, they are amazing. The remote is easy to use and I absolutely love that I can dim or brighten, and change from cool to warm lighting. Brilliant design and easy in install. You can see the difference in the 2 pictures I included. Our old lights used to hang down and my teen boys would bump. These new light lay flat so we no longer have this issue.

I like the mounting bracket provided that can attach to electrical box on screwed to ceiling. Comes with a safety wire which clips to the bracket which makes install painless while installing provided wire nuts.. light is very bright but dimmable. I like the yellow light mode which I find mimics sunlight.
Remote needs batteries but works perfect. Remembers last settings and works with switch.

I didn’t want to cut a hole and wire a switch on this interior clapboard. This worked well. The remote works when aimed at the ceiling, not necessarily right at the fixture. The fixture is reasonably bright. Quality is what you’d expect at this price point. Mounting was easy, although the supplied screws were too short and I had to use my own (8-32, I think).

Installation was easy and it works like a charm. It replaced a pull chain light that did not look good as it was in my living room. This greatly appreciated the looks and enhances the room. I can have warm light, bright light, dim lighting effects or off with the simple remote controller. There is no RF (radio frequency) interference as some put out. I do hope it lasts. Great product and would buy again.

I really didn’t have super high hopes for such a cheap chicom light but the thing does the job. First, don’t expect some high quality construction and style, this this screams cheap rental property. I installed this thing about a desk under a shelf in an alcove for lighting.
I bought this for:
1) Stepless dimming
2) Stepless color changing
3) Very low profile
From my impressions:
1) This light is fairly directed down, like the recessed lights I have in another room. It does not spread the light around, like a main ceiling light would. Therefore, this light is not well suited to be the main center light in a room. A light for the center of a room will throw light from the sides that will reflect off of the ceiling, thereby illuminating the whole room.
2) Because of the above limitations a single light bulb recessed fixture may be a better choice.
3) The one place this light would be perfect is in a closet. Being able to set the color temp and brightness depending on the layout of the closet would be great. Also, since it is very low profile shelves it would not waste space. This would also work well in bathrooms that have multiple sources of light turned on at the same time.
4) Very light weight and easy to install. Has a wire so you can hang the light while doing the electrical connections. Includes hardware, including screws for a ceiling box and a couple of screws with anchors. Also has wiring caps. Lever type connectors would have been nice but whatever. Also there is enough space between the mounting plate and the light to put the wires (just barely) so you do not have to connect everything behind the mounting plate or try to shove the wires back through the hole into a box which would be hard with solid core wire.
5) Remote is cheap and doesn’t come with batteries. However, the buttons have a nice positive click and tactile feel so they are very easy to push without error. There is a red light at the top indicating when the light is pushed. Two annoying things I don’t like is that that when changing the color temp the brightness goes to 100%. I would like to change the color temp without affecting the brightness. The other thing is the battery cover does not stay on. I used electrical tape.
6) I’m guessing there is a led strip running around the perimeter of the inside of the shade. This will make the light a little brighter around the edges but it is not really that bad at all. You cannot see any individual led hotspots, which is great.
In summary, it’s cheap and works just fine. I really wouldn’t use it anywhere besides a closet or a pantry. Maybe a place where a little auxiliary light is needed without installing a recessed fixture. Just remember you can’t use a dimmer switch with this, you must use the remote.

I needed a ceiling light to replace one that had a pull chain (which kept breaking) and no wall switch. This light was the perfect solution. It was quick and easy to install, and the remote-control switch is very handy. I just velcro’d it to a nearby wall and it works great. Hopefully will be reliable over the long haul. The full 12″ diameter doesn’t quite flush-mount (just the center mounting plate does), but it’s so slim and low profile that it’s not an issue for my purposes. It’s installed in a basement location that doesn’t get a lot of use but it’s nice to have a strong light source there when needed. The different light color temperature settings are nifty and the dimming is truly stepless.
