My babies wore these until they didn’t fit anymore. I suggest these to everyone or buy as baby shower gifts. They’re cute, comfortable, and work with any baby outfit. They keep feet warm cause baby socks never stay on! Quality is nice and durable lasted 3 babies and still have some life left!

My 5 month old son will kick off anything on his feet, socks, shoes, nothing will stay on. These booties are kick proof ! They are my go too, great quality, they keep his little toes nice and warm. Super easy to use with the Velcro. Definitely buying one of each color now !

WINTER IN OUR HOUSE WITH A NEWBORN IS… AN EXPERIENCE. Particularly when it comes to dressing the tiny human for outdoor excursions. It’s less “dressing,” more like a highly specialized form of wrestling, often against an opponent who appears to be auditioning for a contortionist role in the baby Olympics. Enter these booties. And specifically, enter the VELCRO.
VELCRO: THE UNSUNG HERO OF PARENTING
LET’S BE REAL, anything that simplifies the process of getting winter gear onto a newborn is practically a miracle. And these booties? They understand the assignment. The large Velcro strap isn’t just “large,” it’s practically industrial-grade. It’s the kind of Velcro that could probably hold a small aircraft together. And for parents battling a baby who can twist, squirm, and generally Houdini their way out of any garment, that Velcro strap is pure, unadulterated gold. It makes securing these booties a blessedly QUICK process. Because when it’s -10 outside and your newborn is channeling their inner octopus, SPEED is not just a luxury, it’s a necessity for parental sanity.
WIDE OPENING: A WELCOME SIGHT
THE WIDE OPENING, thanks to that generous Velcro design, is another stroke of genius. Trying to shove tiny baby feet into tiny baby footwear can feel like attempting to thread a microscopic needle while wearing mittens. But these booties? They open up wide. REALLY wide. Like “landing strip for baby feet” wide. This generous opening makes slipping them on – even over chunky baby socks and even when your aforementioned “newborn ninja” is in full wiggly mode – surprisingly easy. A welcome change from the usual baby-dressing battle.
THE “OVERKILL” PACKAGING (A MINOR QUIRK)
NOW, LET’S TALK PACKAGING. The booties arrived in a box. A substantial box. A box that, frankly, felt like it could have survived a postal apocalypse. Seriously, for two tiny baby booties, the box was… ambitious. It was roughly the size of a textbook, maybe even a small laptop. Was it necessary? Probably not. Was it slightly amusing? Definitely. Perhaps they were worried about bootie theft during shipping? Or maybe they just really, REALLY value secure packaging. Either way, the booties arrived in pristine condition, nestled within their fortress of cardboard. A minor packaging quirk, but worth a chuckle.
RUBBER GRIPS: ASPIRATIONAL FOOTWEAR?
THE RUBBER GRIPS on the bottom are, at this stage in our baby’s life, a purely aspirational feature. Our little one is currently mastering the art of… existing in a horizontal position. Parkour and power-walking are not yet on her daily agenda. So, the grippy soles are, admittedly, a tad irrelevant right now. But hey, they are there! Perhaps these are pre-emptive grips, for the future date when she decides to launch her reign of terror on two feet. Or maybe they are for some advanced-level newborn crawling techniques we haven’t unlocked yet. Time will tell.
BAREFOOT PARENT PERKS (AND BOOTIE COMPROMISES)
AS MEMBERS OF THE, admittedly slightly crunchy, BAREFOOT COMMUNITY, we are generally… wary of foot-constricting footwear. We’re all about healthy foot development and letting those little piggies roam free. BUT. Winter in reality necessitates some form of foot protection for delicate baby toes. And these booties? They get a surprising amount of approval, even from us habitually shoeless types. The key? The Velcro strap retention is positioned up top, around the ankle. This is genius. There’s no elastic squeezing around the foot itself, no constricted toes. They are snug and secure without feeling foot-smothering. A win-win for warmth AND healthy foot freedom. As far as baby booties go, these get a surprisingly enthusiastic thumbs-up from the barefoot contingent in our household.
FINAL VERDICT: NEWBORN WINTER WIN (WITH ROOM FOR BOX DOWNSIZING)
THESE BOOTIES ARE, in short, a winter parenting win. Easy on, easy off (thank you, Velcro!). Wide opening for even the wiggly-est of newborns. And a design that even a barefoot-leaning parent can appreciate. The packaging is, admittedly, hilariously over-engineered. But the booties themselves? Solid, practical, and genuinely helpful for surviving newborn winter “booty duty.” Recommended – especially if you value speed, ease, and a bit of Velcro-powered parental sanity in the face of winter baby-dressing challenges.

I ordered two pairs of these fleece booties for my 4 month old baby on our camping trip in cold weather. One arrived with a strip of Velcro missing so it was not usable. I requested a replacement and they had it to me within 48 hours. They were wonderful and he was warm and comfortable, both at night time and in early morning hours. Highly recommend.
