I wanted to try this product on my babe due to its limited ingredients and lack of scent. The soap (used a handful of times), diaper cream (used once), and face cream (used once) seem to be fine. However, the lotions which I’ve used twice on my baby has a weird plastic-y smell to it and the last time we used it my baby broke out in a full body rash. Now I know babies can have different reactions to things, but I won’t be using this lotion anymore and will likely stay away from the rest of the box to avoid my babe getting a rash again. And in regards to the smell of the lotion, idk how to describe it other than like plastic or like a Barbie doll used to smell in the 90’s or play dough..

I haven’t used this product yet, however, all of the ingredients are approved by the EWG which is super important to me. I do not want to put any harsh chemicals or fragrances on my baby. It also has everything you will need. The company also makes a foaming newborn wash that I recommend.

I’ve tried so many other baby care brands, but the Babo Botanicals Baby Care Set has been amazing! The clean ingredients make me feel confident using it on my daughter, who has incredibly sensitive skin. Every product in the set worked so well for her, and we’ve had zero irritation—something we haven’t been able to say about other brands. I highly recommend this set to other parents looking for safe, gentle, and effective products for their little ones. This has become a staple in our household!

Beacuse of the EWG verified I wanted to love it for my newborn but made his skin dry with patches and then broke out in rash. Especially when applying the lotion after the red rash all over his body he cried out in pain then on the second application a couple days later he still cried from pain I decided to throw it out. And the smell is pretty foul like a play dough kinda smell. Be cautious this almost induced eczema on my 2 month old.

This nourishing set was a baby shower gift, and now a few months later, I can report that mama and baby loved it. Soothing, nourishing and hydrating (and we live in a VERY dry state so that is important!), and good for baby’s skin. Good ingredients without harsh chemicals, fragrances, etc. Definitely on my gift list for baby showers from now on!
