I really like this chromebook. It seems well made, has a good looking screen (for the price point) and works perfectly for the type of work I’m doing (I’m a fourth grade teacher. My only complaint is that the description is incorrect. It’s advertised as having a touch screen, but it doesn’t. I was a little upset when I found out after I first started using it. I would have sent it back, but chromebooks have become so difficult to get at a decent price point, I just decided to keep it.
In short, I like everything about this, except the misleading and incorrect description that this chromebook has a Touchscreen. If it had been as described, I would have given 5 stars.

Fast, lightweight, works great. Unbelievably quick. Easy to set up. Just used Google account to set up. Also was able to transfer files via Google from old laptop. Would recommend. The sleeve is also very nice, high quality.

Great for school work, this is our second one and purchased in 2021. Still runs like new, no issues. First one got damaged as my son spilled drink on keyboard and we had to get a new one.
Great price and easy to use.

Wow, what an utter waste of money. Bought this for my husband. It was never dropped, beaten up, or abused- it rarely left the living room. Lasted FIVE MONTHS and is now refusing to show webpages, despite showing that it is connected to the internet. Pages take forever to load when it even tries. Trackpad is also not the greatest- sometimes take multiple clicks to actually register. I’m going to try and return. Do not waste your time or money- buy something else!

Great out of the box and set up! Have used ChromeBook in the past and this is a great upgrade in screen size and keyboard size! Battery time is awesome and it is so lightweight! All of my set up and programs were already there in signed in when I just signed into my google account which is why I the ease of ChromeBooks is so impressive to me!

First off I just want to say that for the people that want this and still want to be able to use word, you can. Go to the google play store and get the app. Works just like word on your regular PC. This is a great machine and I am more than happy that I decided to get a Chromebook instead of a regular laptop. The no touchscreen is not a problem for me because I hate touchscreen computers. Also this is not a Chromebook that flips and works like a tablet and that is not a big deal to me either because I have a tablet. This is great for school and for when I need it to do zoom. The touch pad mouse takes a little getting used to but it is adjustable in settings. Overall, this is a great value for the $$ and I would purchase another Chromebook without hesitation in the future.

My laptop died and I needed to replace it. I mostly use it for my book keeping, google docs and sheets. I decided to go with a chromebook because I didn’t need much for storage and the price difference. I am very happy with this, I especially love the separate number keypad and the screen size. It’s got great battery life. I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this on new year’s and I got this yesterday and soon as I opened it, I already knew it was a good Chromebook because the packaging was amazing and when I turned it on, the clarity was grate. This Chromebook is not ment for playing games but it got good games and it is very fast. Overall, this is an amazing Chromebook. The only downside is the storage but it’s fine.

THIS CHROMEBOOK WAS AWESOME WE RETURNED IT BECAUSE IT DID NOT PLAY THE PRO FLYING GAMES THAT WE BOUGHT IT FOR WE TRIED TO GET A CONTROLLER TO HELP THE GAME BUT EVEN WITH THAT IT DID NOT PERFORM OK, THE APPS ARE REALLY COMPLICATED AND JUST ABOVE WHAT THIS CHROMEBOOK WAS MADE FOR NOT THE MACHINES FAULT AND IT WAS AT A GOOD PRICE BUT JUST COULD NOT PERFORM THE COMPLICATED SIMULATIONS WE NEEDED.

I bought 3 Acer Chromebooks, just over 3 months ago 1×17″ and two of these 15″ and I just got off the phone with ACER after submitting my proof of purchase. The 17″ would not charge on the right port, so I looked it up and it’s a systemic problem with these ACER Chromebookss (you can look that up online). I returned that one back to Amazon. One of the 15″ Chromebooks came with a faulty charger, which I just noticed because I just started using this one. When I called ACER, I was denied warranty, even though I uploaded and they confirmed receipt of my Amazon proof of purchase on APRIL 17th 2023, I was denied warranty today, AUG 7 2023. In fact, I was told ACER does not warranty these laptops. Consider this before purchasing.
On another note, I use these laptops as backup. My Linux laptop keyboard finally gave out, so I started using these Chromebooks. I almost immediately noticed that Google is taking full advantage of controlling the user’s experience when trying to use competing apps and services such as Brave browser or search using Yandex (non-censored search engine). Sites get blocked, competing apps get closed or freeze up. So this is way beyond Google’s intense censorship with online searches. It’s most certainly looking at everything I do because now all the ads on my phone to this laptop are deadly targeted to my life (they never were). Amazon will notice that I bought a Dell 5500 last night to get back to Linux Mint and get these Chromebooks and Google out of my world again. As for ACER, they have no integrity. They are the lowest rated laptops for quality and customer service, according to the review I read online. Do you research and do yourself a favor and look at a 2 or 3 year old business-quality Dell or Thinkpad that is far better quality, and put Linux on it because it’s a much better experience. ACER – NEVER AGAIN. Why I even considered this brand again is puzzling – it was cheap obviously – until it breaks. No more!

My wife uses a Chromebook to view films from her home country. The Chromebook she had was beyond the update period and finally died. This new Chromebook is close to her original so the learning curve is much easier than trying to learn another operating system.

I had to purchase a new laptop for my 9 year old after the old one (and I mean 2011 old) he was using finally conked out. I was relieved to find this one available on Amazon, especially considering the shortages that the country is going through right now. My son uses it without any issues for school, gaming and YouTube watching. The screen size is perfect and very bright, the controls on the computer are very easy to use and the case that comes with it has already come in handy because my 16 m/o is in her “everything is mine” phase and when she sees the actual computer, she tries to take it. The case keeps her confused and the laptop safe. While I wouldn’t recommend this for adults that have the need for large files for work or school, but it’s PERFECT for kids!
