Seams a good product, worked with a polishing wheel

These 3M products allow choices for the condition of your fiberglass from mild to severe dullness. Work great, easy to apply and more importantly remove. I used a 3000 rpm buffer and the results were excellent.

Cleans gel coat stains

3M makes a superior product. Apply to moist polish pad, slow speed to begin, then move to medium speed to finish. Move in all directions and overlap passes. You can use a spray bottle to moisten if need be during the application. Allow haze to develop and wipe off this first pass of polish with micro-fiber towel then use a fluffy woolen buff pad to develop a nice “see your face” in shine. If the oxidation is heavy to begin with and you’re not satisfied with the initial result, no worries, simply repeat the process. Patience is king when buffing out a faded, oxidized gel-coat or an old-fashioned lacquer finish. Do not run your buffer at a high speed using hard pressure. This is a mistake and you’ll stand a good chance of “burning” the finish. With gentle pressure, let the weight of the buffer do the work. Do not use this in the hot sun, you will not like the outcome. Enjoy the shade for a much better result. The 1QT size is the right choice and a much better value. Do not use this on a modern clear coat automotive finish.

Super Politur. Haben wir für Boot gekauft

This stuff not only works on boats, but it’s great cutting imperfections on autos. My Gal just got merged into by a 1 ton dually on the freeway. There were tire marks from the front of the front door to the rear bumper in her yellow Jeep Wrangler 4 door. The lug nuts of the truck cut right thru her stainless running boards. I didn’t think all those marks would come out. I used this on my orbital buffer, It took a bit of work and I was a bit afraid of it going through the paint, but alas, it all came out beautifully!!

Best on the market

I wash and buff my 24 foot boat at the end of every season. I have used 3m rubbing compound to remove the oxidation etc.. and then hit it with a coat of wax. Three times over the boat was getting to be more than my body could take. I bought this product hoping to cut down a step. I was very happy with how it removed the oxidation and left a very nice shine. Time will tell how the wax holds up but my boat looks just as good using this product.

I recently bought a primetime travel trailer that is in perfect condition, except front cap was faded to a gray. I bought a cheap hand buffer for $25 and this 3m product. If you look in photo, the top I couldn’t reach, will complete later, but shows the huge difference between before and after. To do this all that was needed was the small buffer, which came with pads, and this 3m gelcoat cutting compound/wax. Total time spent to do what you see in photo was approximately 30 minutes, most of the time was using a microfiber cloth to remove wax when dry. Very happy with results, was literally a dull gray before as you can see in photo at top.

Eine der besten Polituren für Boote die ich je hatte. Richtig gut wurde das Finish aber erst nach dem Wachsen vom gleichen Hersteller!
